    GREATEST PROTEIN ENERGY DRINK EVER!!, August 7, 2012

    I have been drinking Whey Up since 2007 and I LOVE IT! There is not another protein energy drink on the market that tastes as good or works as well. I drink at least one Whey UP a day and can certainly feel my energy levels increase when i drink it before a work out. It’s also been a great source of meal replacement with 20g of protein and again, it tastes GREAT!

    I even pack bottles of WHEYUP when I travel and have gone to great measures to get more WHEY UP if i run out. People who work out should drink WHEYUP for the protein energy boost they get before going to the gym. I have also pointed out to people that are dieting that they should drink WHEYUP as a meal replacement (once a day) and then keep filling the bottle with water for the rest of the day.

    I love that AMAZON is now selling WHEY UP and everyone should try it!

    Love WheyUP! Protein and caffeine for me is the perfect pre-workout drink and WheyUP has both and it tastes like candy. Truly addicting!

    I decided to try this one primarily because of the caffeine. I need morning energy to endure a computer desk job on little sleep and usual grumpiness for not being a morning person. I also drink whey daily in the morning and having caffeine with it couldn’t be any better.
    So, a while ago I purchased “Protein to go Wild Berry Caffeinated” . It helped a lot my morning energy, however it was impossible to drink, extremely disgusting and it was only a 2.5 oz.
    WheyUp it’s 100% better than my previous try, it has a nice and tolerable flavor, a little sweet for my taste and it reminds me of liquid jello. I also think it has too many ounces. I can barely swallow one cup of anything when waking up and 16 oz is a very difficult task for me. I’m sure everyone can drink a 16 oz of Starbucks coffee in the morning, but that’s not me.

    The good:
    – quick, easy, no mixing;
    – nice flavor,
    – energy boost, it has the same caffeine amount of an 8 oz cup of coffee and one time and a half the amount of an espresso;

    The bad:
    – whey to ounces ratio is too low: only 20g of whey protein per 16 ounces.
    – it tastes a little like diet drinks, I can taste the artificial sweetener;

    I will keep using it for the days I’m a “walking dead” and needing a caffeine boost, otherwise I will stick to my whey powder that let’s me add any amount of whey (20g or 40g) in a 8 oz cup if I want to.
    I do use whey protein everyday for nutrition reasons and after working out. I haven’t tried to use it prior to working out yet because I workout after 7 pm and that probably will keep me awake for the whole night. I will try on the weekend and update my review.
