    Like many other people, I want to find ways to eat better and lose weight. I grew up with the knowledge that wheat was important to our diets, but I didn’t realize the impact it really had on us. This book provides you with some good information on wheat and how it affects our body. The arguments presented in the book are backed by scientific research and studies. This diet book is not like any other diet book I’ve read. It doesn’t just tell us what foods to avoid and what we should eat, but this book actually explains why we are overweight and how to properly manage a healthier diet, making this book a great book for weight loss.

    This book could easily be renamed “the Ultimate Diet Book” There are hundreds of diet books available, including everything from low carb to high carb, grapefruit diets, juice diets, and special diet foods. All purport to tell you how to lose weight, and many may even work for a period of time, but then the weight comes right back on. Why?
    The Wheat Free Diet Book isn’t just a list of foods to eat and those to avoid …it explains WHY we are overweight, WHY the average diet doesn’t work, and HOW to go about winning the fight against fat. It explains the well documented ill effects of wheat consumption on the body, and how certain diseases are linked to the gluten in wheat.
    I found this book of great personal interest since I have a daughter who suffers from Celiac, and have been studying this subject since 1968. I only wish I had been able to read this book back then, since it would have helped me a great deal!
    Anyone who is serious about losing weight and keeping it off, and about maintaining maximum health, can definitely benefit from reading this book.
