    It’s a simple guide to paleo dieting. (I can’t attest to the “ultimate” part or the results “in 7/21 days” since it’s still too early, but the guide is backed up with facts and the author seems credible.)

    The book is made up of two parts. The first is a simple discussion of terms and concepts related to paleo diets including: fats, keto diets, low vs high glycemix index, and more. While the topics appear to be disjointed at first, they turn out to be relevant.

    The latter section is devoted to recipes ideal for the paleo diet. Love this part, for four reasons:
    1. The instructions are straightforward.
    2. While the book was published in the USA, the ingredients are easy enough to find in my locale (outside the US).
    3. Snack and desserts recipes are included.
    4. The dishes look yummy (and don’t really seem like they’re part of a diet!)

    Update: There’s a bonus eBook entitled “How to Fix a Broken Metabolism” which I found really helpful despite its brevity (learned stuff not covered in my Health 101 class, like obesogens and adrenal fatigue). If you’re not into paleo but is still interested in losing weight, this one might suit you more.

    I was recently recommended The Ultimate Paleo Weight Loss Diet for Women and I have to say that it turned out to be a very informative and effective guide that helped to to not only understand the Paleo diet, but helped me to understand why it works, what it does for your body and just how to get the ball rolling. Emile Jarreau shows his experience deftly in the book, explaining with expertise the way in which the body can benefit from the diet, from modern weight/health issues that impact us to the effects ingredients such as saturated fats that greatly increase health risks and weight gain. What made the book even better was the free gift that really took a closer look inside the diet (and would be especially useful to those who have adrenal fatigue and just can’t lose weight) that really stepped up the information of the guide and the added webinar that talks about and gives an in depth guide to the cyclical ketogenic diet as well.

    Overall, when I finished the book I felt like I had a solid foundation for the Paleo diet and a deeper understanding of just how it would benefit me and my body. Mr. Jarreau has a talent for explaining the diet (and its intricacies) in an easy to understand way that really made the difference for me. I would recommend the book for anyone who wants to learn more about the diet and just how to begin implementing it in their life.
