WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK

I’ve had a bad year or two, health wise and then a couple of months ago, my doctor announced I now had Type Two Diabetes!

Something had to be done, and quickly. I started to research all the popular and not-so-popular diets that the healthy people I know follow.

I quickly realized that what I needed was not so much a new diet as a new way of eating, a healthy new way of eating! A regimen I could live with, day in, day out, for the rest of my life. A way of eating that I could follow as I travel the globe pursuing my writing career.

I know a couple who used to be fat and out of shape, too tired to do much but go to work and collapse in front of the television once they got home and had dinner. But now, now they’re the picture of health, no longer obese, full of energy and vitality. They have all the vim, vigor and vitality they need to live a very active, fulfilled, exciting life.

I asked, no, demanded, to know their secret. They smiled at each other and told me.

That secret is The Paleo Diet, and now I’m on the road to being as fit and sassy as they are…and oh, yes…my blood sugar is already back to normal.

    Written by someone that has clearly walked the walk. Well researched and well presented. This book covers everything from what foods to eat, what to avoid, and breaks down what to eat for each meal of the day. I like the section on getting organized as well, and cleaning out your pantry and getting your kitchen all set.

    Well written, formatted and structured in a way that makes reading easy and fun. Really got me up and motivated to start a Paleo diet. I really enjoyed the down to earth tone and writing style.

    I would recommend this to anyone or to anyone you know that is looking for a healthy lifestyle because it worked for me.

    Not the most in-depth book but its simplicity inspired me to start the paleo path. Good, easy recipes (I don’t enjoy cooking but these are basic and quick), valuable resources/links to other paleo books and cookbooks, and helpful advice for what to include and omit in your diet. Recommended to anyone who wants to get their feet wet in this area. I read it four days ago in one sitting and have wholly applied it since then and I don’t see myself returning to processed foods and sugar any time soon.

    I would first like to comment about how well the book is written. Very easy to follow and understand. It has tons of information on the Paleo Diet, so if you were unsure what it was before you read it, than you won’t be after you read it! It shares how to follow this healthy, safe way to eat in a practical manner. I personally love this diet as I am a cross-trainer and using this diet is full of nutrients. Not fake food, but real food that is unprocessed! The diet focuses on protein and fat instead of those nasty processed carbs.I feel like my mind is more clear and I definitely get really good sleep now. I’ve been using this diet for 2 years now and I won’t go back to anything else. The energy level is stable and you don’t get drained because like we said earlier, we are eating real foods.

    The book links you to some outstanding Paleo cookbooks, where you can really get your mouth watering after reading through some. Gives you some great suggestions on the foods you should and shouldn’t eat. Most people experience weight loss and muscle growth while eating a Paleo Diet and keeping an active lifestyle. Improved metabolic processes and gut health, better sleep, and stress management. One last thing before I let you go is that how less gassy I am with this diet. The other diets I have tried, made me real bloat or gassy. I recommend anyone that is trying to eat healthy to try this Diet plan, you won’t regret it. Treat your body right and feed it some real food!
