    I really loved tacos,.. but with the introduction of Quinoa Taco bites from this book- I never have loved it better! I’ve also tried the Hawaiian Breakfast quinoa for my 10 month old kid. I just replaced the milk with the formula milk then voila!- I had another nutritious food for my baby, and guess what? She enjoyed it as much as I did. Its nutritional value was a big plus! Imagine a high protein food not coming from meat with a big plus of fiber (ooh I love this!), folate (for pregnant women) and many others. I’m very grateful I had the chance to read this book. Facts are in place and properly organized. The recipes were manageably accentuated with the information presented in the introduction.

    I’ve been seeing quinoa mentioned all over the internet and in magazines so I finally decided to get this book and find out more about it. This book gives you all of the information about what quinoa is, where it originated from and nutritional information for it so it’s a great book for those who are interested in finding out more about this super food. This book has some great recipes that are definitely worth trying out. There are a lot of great breakfast recipes in this book, but there are also some recipes that I didn’t expect to see such as mini pizzas and tacos. The recipes in this book provide delicious meals to make your diet healthier without having to sacrifice your favorite foods.

    Quinoa is becoming popular since it has been recognized as a super food. I knew of it, but assumed it was in the rice family and was surprised to find out it is a seed and closely related to food such as Swiss chard and spinach. There is a lot more info on quinoa in this book including its background and where to find it. There are also a lot of interesting and versatile recipes I cannot wait to try. I was pleasantly surprised by all that I learned in this book and can’t wait to try out some of the recipes!
