DASH Diet: How to Boost your Metabolism, Lose Weight Naturally and Be Healthy with Delicious and Flavorful Recipes

This book was born out of my need to pass on to others what I have learned about the DASH Diet Solution to weight loss. When I was first introduced to the diet, I was motivated to read and research every little bit of information that I could find about it.

You will learn:

1.The world’s Biggest Killers

2.The DASH Diet Weight Loss Diet Solution

3.How to Boost Your Metabolism

3.1.Ways to Boost Your Metabolism

3.1.1Build Muscle

3.1.2Adequate Sleep to Increase Metabolism

3.1.3Move! Move! Move!

4.The Dash Diet Eating Plan

5.Metabolic Syndrome

6.Benefits of exercise

7.DASH Diet Recipes

Some of the things that I learned were shocking! I had no idea of the prevalence of chronic illnesses in America and other countries around the globe. I learned a lot of medical terms, made all effort to decipher and digest what I learned and now have an excellent understanding not only of the diet, but how it can impact on and help turn things around in America and on the entire planet. The DASH Diet was initially developed to prevent, help manage and even reverse hypertension. Hypertension kills! It is a precursor to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, liver disease, and other complications. The lowering or total elimination of sodium was the focus of the DASH Sodium study and led to the final DASH Diet Weight Solution. It is the solution to many of your health and mental problems as well as your weight loss problems. I will not regurgitate what Marla Heller Ph.D., the author of the DASH Diet books as this information can be found online free. The menus, shopping lists, and food groups are available for you to download at (DASH Diet, n.d.)There you’ll find a Daily Fitness Center Extension that has nutrition tips and facts, a built in search bar, recipes, workouts tailored for your needs, and daily motivational quotes. So, the sooner you get started, the better. This e-book will motivate and prepare you for your amazing journey to a healthy, fit and happy life!

Hypertension runs in my family so it has been a concern for me for many years. Add this to the fact that I have been looking for ways to lose weight naturally, this book has been perfect for me. Natasha Norman takes all of the guess-work out of the DASH diet by explaining clearly what it entails, giving detailed ways to achieve weight loss and boost your metabolism at the same time, and providing some recipes for delicious meals. I have implemented these ideas into my diet and have been amazed at the results – I feel better and am burning fat at the same time.

I initially heard about the DASH Diet from some older relatives who got started on it because of hypertension. Apparently this diet can lower your blood pressure, but what I found out is that it can also boost your metabolism and aid in fat burning. Um, yeah, I want that.

What’s even more surprising is that a healthy diet book could have such delicious recipes. They’re creative, easy to follow, and don’t have too many ingredients – you can make a lot from what’s already in your kitchen.

The DASH Diet is definitely a more natural and proactive path to losing weight, and this is a good introduction to it. Get healthy the doctor-approved way like I am. Awesome stuff here.

This is a nice short book. It has amazing tips about weight loss. It’s amazing how this author was able to lose 90 pounds by actually just doing what she needed to do. No special diets or tricks. This book offers some great tips and advice on how to lose weight. It also gives you some tips and advice that normally your doctor or weight loss coach won’t give you. One of the best advice than this book has is to drink lots of water. Always drink water before meals as it can help you not eat so much food. Also another great tip in this book was that you don’t have to be a runner to lose weight. Walking works just as well. This is a great book and easy read with great tips and I would recommend it to anyone. Losing weight does not have to suck with this book.

This was a very interesting and informative book to read. The author starts by telling her readers that she was overweight, miserable and depressed. In her book, she writes about the things that we aren’t told about when starting to losing weight. Eating the right kinds of food, lowering your calorie intake and exercising, while it’s not always easy to stick with it, the results pay off. She also writes about eating foods that are low in calories but filling. The list of delicious 100 calorie snack recipes sound so easy and healthy, something to stick with even after the weight has come off. The book is easy and interesting to read and would be a big help for those who are trying to lose weight. I like how she comes right out and lets the readers know it’s not easy, but in the end it’s well worth it. Stick with it after the weight lose for a healthy body with more energy.
