    I think this is a great, informative book that is probably helpful to just about anyone. I like that the author broke down the different types of body fat and the many causes of excess weight. I think a lot of this book is fairly common sense stuff, like avoiding sugar and junk foods that don’t have any nutritional value.

    One thing I don’t agree with in this book, is the sample diet provided. All of the meals focus on meats and vegetables. There is no grains, fruit or dairy products included. Leaving out three of the five food groups is incredibly unbalanced, which could lead to vitamin deficiencies. When the body is deficient in essential vitamins, then the person will automatically crave more food to correct the problem. In this case, that extra food will lead to an increase in eating and less chance of weight loss. For best results, snacks should be fresh fruits, like apples, grapes, and berries, and main meals focusing on proteins, vegetables and whole grains.

    Other than that one correction, I think this is a great weight loss guide that covers a lot of different aspects in why people struggle so much winning the belly battle.

    I have had problems in a lot of areas. My belly although not a problem area could still use some work. I am plus size. I am heavy everywhere but my the belly. However it is still kind flabby and even more so now that I have lost weight. So I did find this book is not only good for losing but toning as well. It tells you the best vitamins I learned about this various types of fat and it also have dinner plans.

    I found it very informative with food to eat and stay away from. I have been dieting but getting this information was an added bonus. It also tells you some of the best exercises for the abdomen area. It even gives you everyday things you can incorporate into your daily routine.

    I highly recommend!
