    As someone who has recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I found Mr. Burnett’s book to an excellent tool to help me to regulate my weight, energy and metabolism. The diet described in this book is specifically formulated to people with my condition, and it leaves out harmful ingredients such as broccoli and cauliflower. I followed over a dozen recipes outlined in this book for dinners each night, and I feel more alert and energized than I did beforehand. I also haven’t gained a single pound. My personal favorite recipes are the stuffed winter squash, pouched salmon with parsley and pumpkin seed, and the mashed sweet potatoes with chipotle. Must have book for anyone suffering from hypothyroidism!

    There’s a very basic introduction on Hypothyroidism and what it is, but nothing too extensive. If you’re looking to learn more indepth knowledge about the disease or how these foods may help, this is not the book for that. This book is more like a reference book for cooking healthy meals. The recipes are fun but there’s only about 30 or 40 of them, and with no explanation as to why that particular meal would be helpful, given the disease.

    This book truly has everything you need to lose weight and to get into shape. Ace does a great job covering the best foods to eat for someone who is trying to lose weight and gain muscle mass. One of the other cool things that he does in the book is to show you what diets are the best for you. The training exercises that he gives in this book will help you to strengthen your cardiovascular system and tone your muscles. I found it very helpful to see what supplements were the best to use. Ace also outlines healthy habits that are good for anybody. Thanks for the great book, Ace!
