    An ok book, but my biggest issue with it is that all the information is BASIC KNOWLEDGE! Google how to lose weight and this will pop up. very basic, very simple. Show me revolutionary protocols and training, and not the run of the mill “Eat less” ” Workout more” because most of us that are trying to lose weight already have tried that.

    I chose this rating because the content of the text was so basic that a 12-year old could have written it by jotting down notes from first-year health class, yet it doesn’t deserve one star because it is actually decently written. Maybe some folks never had that initial health class, and if that’s the case, then this is the little guide for you to pick up and read.

    The PROS? Unlike most self-published texts, I was actually able to get through reading this whole one without puking from grammatical errors. I think the author actually had an editor. It’s written well, despite the “health 101” qualities of the book. Other benefits include its length (short enough to read in one session), its price (free – woohoo!), and accurate information.

    The CONS? The book didn’t really answer the question “How do I lose 10 pounds in a week?” until the last few pages, and the answer to that could have been summarized in a 500-word essay. The earlier “chapters” were helpful, however, to those who may need a basic summary.

    I think most people (myself included) would pick this up in a moment of needing to lose a few pounds in a short amount of time, or to kick start a diet for a longer (and larger) amount of weight loss. There are probably better books out there for this, but if this were renamed “Dieting 101”, it would live up to its title a bit more aptly.
