I had the chance to review for Ebook – Clean Food Diet free and have to tell you it is a great book. I have recently have been looking for some new clean eating receipes. This ebook had a lot of different ones to look at. There are things like tomato and cheese skewers, grilled zucchini rolls, wrapped mango and spinach bites, strawberry spinach salad, pear and arugula salad, meatless chili, and my favorites were Fruit kebabs and chocolate covered strawberries. There are so many different ones in the book, I’m sure you can find anything for everyone in the house.

I always really like Jonathan Vine books. They don’t just offer a few recipes with no explanation. I have read quite a few of his books about Eating Vegetarian, Vegetarian Recipes, and a couple of others and have really enjoyed them. I equally like his book about Clean eating. Clean Food Diet doesn’t just offer 50 great recipes that are easy and can be added to the menu rather seamlessly, but he also talks about how eating clean is important, what to eat, how to cook it, and how to avoid additives or products with ingredients you can’t identify.

I found this book very helpful. We are still young in our journey to eating clean and this book was very clear on the why, what, and how of eating clean. The recipes in this book are very good-even the kids enjoyed them. I liked that they were divided by entree type, such as appetizer, main dish, dessert, snacks etc. This is a great book for clean eating newbies-it basically does the planning and thinking for you. Cut out salty foods and sweets, eat more fruits and veggies, drink nothing but water-and make sure to get enough water…This book is a great tool and I find myself going back to it often to brush up or to find a yummy dinner recipe or snack for the kids and me.

This book contains fifty natural recipes designed for healthy living. Vine‘s book contains an introduction, explanations on what is clean eating, what to eat, how to eat clean, and how to cook clean. His recipes are for appetizers such as whole wheat zucchini and white bean hummus; soups, such as gazpacho, Thai tomato soup, and cabbage soup; salads, such as Mexican bean salad, strawberry spinach salad, and light waldof salad; main dishes, such as buttermilk marinated tofu, kababs, and eggplant; deserts, such as cookies, grilled peaches, and smoothie.

In his introduction he speaks about additives. He writes that clean living is a lifestyle of avoiding processed foods and ingredients you cannot identify. One should eat whole foods, fruits, and vegetables. He identifies coconut, avocado, and olive oils as healthy fats. He stresses that cooking for oneself is cheaper and healthier, and it is necessary to drink a lot of water to keep the body hydrated – two liters of water. No sodas at all. Cooking destroys some nutrients so one must learn how to cook properly. Fried foods should be avoided. Salt should be reduced. One should, he writes, think of food as a medicine and our body as a temple. These are just some of the many healthy advices that he gives along with his fifty recipes.
