    “60 Ways to Lose Weight by Eating”, by Dee Williams is a delightful, refreshing, and counterintuitive read. It seems Author Williams is delusional. Have you ever seen anyone lose weight by eating? No, absolutely not. So let’s say I was intrigued right from the very start. Let me quote the basic premise of the book: “Metabolism is a natural continuous proces of burning calories or fats in our bodies. The principle behind losing weight is simply achieving a caloric deficiency. This means you need to be burning more calories than you are taking in.” (end of quote)

    What this book does is provide 60 foods that speed up the bodies metabolism. A diet rich in these foods would therefore incrase the rate at which calories are burned, and counter-intuitively, help you to lose weight, and most importantly, keep it off once lost.
